The Shell Eco Marathon is a competition strictly reserved to High School and University students. It consists in designing and making a vehicle at very low consumption of energy. Lots of other aspects concerning sustainable mobility are considered in this contest, for instance CO₂ emission (g/km), the most innovative design, the active and passive safety devices employed.The final stage of the contest (which also in 2010 was held in Lausitzring) consists in running 8 laps of the track with the minimum amount of energy in a limited established time
